General Inquiries

Do you have washrooms on-site?

Yes, we have many outhouses available; these facilities are frequently serviced to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.

Which location is Pumpkinfest at?

Pumpkinfest takes place at our Buckhorn Berry Farm location, at 3055 Berrie Road.

Do you take debit?

We accept cash, debit, and credit. We prefer cash and debit, however, as credit payments require that we pay a hefty per-transaction fee. Please note that some food vendors are cash only – although there is an ATM on-site, we recommend bringing some cash.

Do you have PYO apples at Pumpkinfest?

Unfortunately we do not have any apples available for pick-your-own. We do have pre-picked apples available in-store.

Hours and Pricing

What hours are you open?

We are open 11-5 on weekends in October – it is best to enter by 4 at the latest to make the most of your experience, although we permit entry until 4:30.

What is the cost of admission?

The admission cost is subject to change each year based on the cost of running the festival – this includes staffing, fuel for the tractors, insurance, and many other factors. Please visit here for the latest updates on Pumpkinfest pricing.

What is included in admission?

Access to the pumpkin patch and haunted forest via a tractor-pulled wagon ride, mini golf, two corn mazes, a haybale maze, access to the Bonesville Cemetery, an opportunity to watch the Pumpkin Cannon (firing every hour), a ventriloquist show by Tim Holland, access to the Hallway of Terror, pumpkin bowling, a bouncy castle, and an obstacle course. All that is not included is anything you choose to purchase in our farm store, or through one of the on-site vendors.

Is a pumpkin included in admission?

Pumpkins must be paid for in our farm store at the end of your visit. This is the case whether you picked your own or chose to get pre-picked pumpkins. They are priced by our trained staff members based on size.

Can I buy tickets ahead of time?

We do not currently offer pre-booked tickets – please come to the farm and pay for tickets at check-in. We have never had an issue with surpassing capacity, so you do not need to worry about us “selling out”.

Policies, Procedures, and Accessibility

Do you have any age restrictions on the haunted forest?

We recommend ages 12+ for the haunted forest, but also recognize that every child is different. Therefore, we ultimately leave it up to the parents to make the final call about what is best for their child.

Do you close if it is raining?

This is a rain or shine event. If there is too much rain, we sometimes have to temporarily close the bouncy castle to prevent the risk of flooding.

Can I bring my pet to Pumpkinfest?

We love dogs, but sadly, for insurance and health and safety reasons, pets are not allowed – certified service animals are the only exception.

Is your farm wheelchair accessible?

As an active farm, we do have some uneven terrain (as roadways are not paved), so it unfortunately depends on the weather and how wet the ground gets. We’ve been working on getting an accessible wagon for the future.

Our staff are trained every year on our accessibility policy and we do everything we reasonably can to ensure all guests have a fun and safe Pumpkinfest experience. If you have any concerns prior to visiting our farm, please send us a text at 705-657-2134 or visit our contact page.

Do you accept Access 2 at Pumpkinfest?

We are not currently registered with the Access 2 program but we do provide complimentary admission for an accompanying support person. Please contact us in advance if there is anything we can do to help provide you with the best possible Pumpkinfest experience.

Can I book a birthday party at Pumpkinfest?

While we cannot offer party services, we do offer 2-hour shelter reservations so that you have a place to gather. If you would like to bring your own decorations, food, etc., that is welcome. The birthday shelter typically has 4-6 picnic tables inside that you can use for your group. Time increments offered are 11-1, 1-3, or 3-5. Please contact us to inquire about reserving a time.
