Strawberries
🍓 PYO Strawberries open daily! PYO strawberries are almost finished so picking is getting more difficult now and the season will end soon.
🚶♂️ McLean Berry Farm (2191 16 Line, Lakefield). You can walk to the field at this location. This field will be open from 8-5, with final entry at 4:30.
🚜 Buckhorn Berry Farm (3055 Berrie Road, Lakefield). Come in through the main entrance (the second driveway) and checkin at the store.. There is no longer a tractor ride and you must walk to the field. There is one varietity of strawberries that still has some berries but PYO is almost finished and there is no longer a field guide in the PYO strawberry fields. On weekdays this field is open until 8pm with the last entry at 7pm. On weekends, this field will be open 8-5, with last entry at 4.
🚗 Buckhorn Berry Farm (3055 Berrie Road, Lakefield). Our Park and pick location is now closed for the season.
Raspberries
🌺 PYO red raspberries are now open for red raspberries at our Buckhorn Berry Farm location, 3055 Berrie Rd with lots of PYO raspberries available – picking is excellent! A short walk to the field from the main parking lot, check in at the BBF store!
🌺 Royal (purple) raspberries have started but picking is on and off depending on availability and demand and will not be open on Friday July 18th. They will reopen on Saturday July 19th from 8am until picked out.

Peas: Pod and Sugar Snap
🌱 PYO Sugar Snap Peas are now finished for the 2025 season

Beans
🌱 PYO beans are now finished for the 2024 season and unfortuantly we will not have PYO beans available in 2025
Black Currants
🌱 PYO black currants will open for the first day on Wednesday July 16. Many black currants are ripe but there are still some to ripen. All PYO currants will be at our Buckhorn Berry Farm location!
Pumpkins
🎃 PYO Pumpkins will be open in October 2025 as part of our annual Pumpkinfest! Pumpkinfest will be open Saturdays and Sundays in October!
